Here are some photos showing meal distribution at Adams-Butzel Complex in Northwest Detroit, taken Wednesday, September 2. Anyone over 60 qualifies for the weekly distribution of seven meals, one for each day of the week. It’s a well-organized process – with cars lined up along Lyndon Ave., then moving through the parking lot to the distribution area. Meals and other items are placed in vehicles by volunteers. Adams-Butzel has always been a tremendous supporter of Strides for Seniors, turning out in great numbers at the annual walk. Contact the center at (313) 628-0990 for more information.
