Strides for Seniors is a collaborative campaign of metro Detroit senior centers held during the month of September, National Senior Center Month. The month long campaign is aimed at increasing the awareness of senior resources, aging issues and the importance of funding senior programs and services. The Walk & Expo takes place at Detroit's beautiful Palmer Park.
