The Aging Matters Education & Expo returns this year – Thursday, August 11, from 8 AM to 3 PM at Wayne County Community College/Northwest Campus. This year’s event – “Conversations with Caregivers” – is a free day of learning, connecting seniors and those who love and care for them to available resources. Guest speaker is actress and author BerNadette Stanis (“Thelma” from the TV show “Good Times.” Registration has closed for the event as of August 3, but walk-in guests are welcome. The event will take place in the Denise Wellons Glover Welcome Center, on campus at 8200 W Outer Dr. in Detroit.
