On Saturday, August 31, Bridging Communities co-sponsored the “Healing Revival Party” brought to its wonderful Chadsey-Condon neighborhood by Sidewalk Detroit. The event featured performances, visual art displays, a mural painting, “Sofa Stories Detroit” and much more. Pictured here is a performance by the Ballet do Folklorico de Detroit. Kickoff to 2026
On August 20, the annual Strides for Seniors was launched at St. Pat Senior Center - featuring a yard sale, DJ Tim and dancing, and a lunch of Detroit favorites like Coney Dogs, Boston Coolers and Better Made Chips. The September long campaign promotes our neighborhood senior centers, powered by Detroit Area Agency on Aging, Detroit Parks & Rec and St. Pat. Here's a 60 second video of the excitement.
