Detroit Urban League

Our mission is to enable African Americans and other persons of color to achieve their fullest potential.

The Detroit Urban League (DUL), also known as the Urban League of Detroit and Southeastern Michigan (ULDSEM), is a non-profit 501c3 organization that is one of 90 affiliates of the National Urban League.  

Since 1916, the DUL has provided critical services to disadvantaged citizens, organized the unorganized, and has established and promoted leadership of service to the greater Detroit community. The DUL has a broad-based Board of Directors representing corporate, financial, and service industries, as well as representatives from government, labor , and educational institutions.
