Hannan Center Summer Fest

The Hannan Center Summer Fest – from 1 PM to 6 PM on Saturday August 20 – is a great way to celebrate this true gem in Detroit.

The event features live music with Kathy Kosins & Friends, giveways, snacks, storytelling, health screenings and a lot more.  There are also guided tours – including the Kayrod Gallery, Black Box Theatre, Podcast studio and more

Kickoff to 2026

On August 20, the annual Strides for Seniors was launched at St. Pat Senior Center - featuring a yard sale, DJ Tim and dancing, and a lunch of Detroit favorites like Coney Dogs, Boston Coolers and Better Made Chips.  The September long campaign promotes our neighborhood senior centers, powered by Detroit Area Agency on Aging, Detroit Parks & Rec and St. Pat.  Here's a 60 second video of the excitement.
