On Friday, July 22, our friends at Detroit Area Agency on Aging (DAAA) brought their Project Senior Fresh to St. Pat. Qualifying seniors received a coupon redeemable for $25 in fruits and vegetables from Eastern Market. And the Eastern Market’s mobil unit was on hand so the produce could be purchased the same day! Another of the wonderful programs sponsored by DAAA!
Kickoff to 2026
On August 20, the annual Strides for Seniors was launched at St. Pat Senior Center - featuring a yard sale, DJ Tim and dancing, and a lunch of Detroit favorites like Coney Dogs, Boston Coolers and Better Made Chips. The September long campaign promotes our neighborhood senior centers, powered by Detroit Area Agency on Aging, Detroit Parks & Rec and St. Pat. Here's a 60 second video of the excitement.
