Senior Project FRESH is Back!

To encourage healthy eating and support Michigan’s farmers marketts, Senior Project FRESH is back!!!

You may be able to receive a FREE $20 coupon book to buy Michigan grown fresh fruits and vegetables. To qualify, you must be at least 60 years old, and a low-income resident of Detroit, Hamtramck, Harper Woods, Highland Park, or the five Grosse Pointes. Those who qualify must complete an application and attend a nutrition education presentation. See photos for class options.

Kickoff to 2026

On August 20, the annual Strides for Seniors was launched at St. Pat Senior Center - featuring a yard sale, DJ Tim and dancing, and a lunch of Detroit favorites like Coney Dogs, Boston Coolers and Better Made Chips.  The September long campaign promotes our neighborhood senior centers, powered by Detroit Area Agency on Aging, Detroit Parks & Rec and St. Pat.  Here's a 60 second video of the excitement.
