Thanks to the staff at Farwell Rec Center for a great afternoon!

The 11 AM to 1 PM outdoor gathering included:

  • Vocalist Paula Michelle – Soulful Rhythym & Blues
  • Free snacks and drinks, sponsored by Aetna
  • Guided tours of the amenities at Farwell Field
  • Visitors from LA SED, St Pat Senior Center, and Adams-Butzel Comples
  • Health checks by nursing students and other professionals –  blood pressure and glucose checks, fall risk assessments, and more.

Farwell Recreation Center is a mainstay of the northeast side, located between 8 Mile and Outer Dr, Mound Rr. and Ryan.  The address is 2711 E. Outer Dr.
