Strides 2020: Walk at Palmer Park!

Since the Strides for Seniors Walk at Palmer Park was cancelled this year, we’re encouraging people to walk on their own – a “virtual walk” with a friend or two. There are many great spots to choose from – including Palmer Park! One of Detroit’s most beautiful spots, it was donated to the city in 1893 by Senator Thomas Palmer. Among the many things to see there is the log cabin the senator used as a summer home, when the area was considered “out in the country.”
